Academy for Five Element Acupuncture is a college located in Gainesville Florida established in 1988 and incorporated in 1995 as non profit educational organization. The main address is at 305 SE 2nd Ave Gainesville, FL 32601. It focus on health (acupuncture) and accept students from all US regions.

Vision of Academy for Five Element Acupuncture is bring healing through the depth, heart and spirit of the Five Element tradition, in full harmony with nature and other healing arts. Their mission is to educate highly effective, compassionate and successful Five Element practitioners who provide exceptional, personalized patient care.

History of the Academy. Academy for Five Element Acupuncture was founded in Florida in 1988 and began incorporated and being non profit organization in 1995. Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) accredited Master of Acupuncture program in 1998 (Reaccreditation for the program was done in 2001 and 2005). In 2000, Florida State Commission for Independent Education awarded a degree named as Master of Acupuncture degree. In 2004, U.S. Department of Education certified the Academy to participate in the Title IV Student Aid Program. While in In 2007, the Academy moved from South Florida to campus building in Gainesville, Florida. Last, In 2010, the first class to start and finish the Master of Acupuncture program in Gainesville graduated and reaccreditation by ACAOM once again was successful.

Tuition & Enrollment Fees. Both Master of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Studies require registration fee at $150 and Confirmation fee at $350. regstration fee isn’t refundable while Confirmation fee is refundable. For Tuition, Master of Acupuncture require $42,000 while Chinese Herbal Studies at $10,000.

Upcoming Events. Academy for Five Element Acupuncture has Prospective Student Open House located in Academy for Five Element Acupuncture Campus at 06/01/2013 10:00 am – 2:00. New Master of Acupuncture class occurs in Academy for Five Element Acupuncture Campus at 08/22/2013 9:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Financial Aid. Students in Academy for Five Element Acupuncture may eligible for Financial Aid which can be used to complete the study (pays tuition and fees). However the financial Aids were only available for student whom taking Master of Acupuncture program. Student at Chinese Herbal Studies Program is not eligible for financial aid. Favorite University would be glad if anyone could verify this.

1. Federal Stafford Loans. Up to $20,500 per academic year are available from the federal government to cover the cost of tuition and fees.
   Check it whether it is subsidized or not.
2. Federal Graduate PLUS Loans. Only available after applied for Federal Stafford Loans (at maximum amount).
3. VA Benefits. Funds from Veterans’ Educational Benefits for students. Some conditions apply.
4. Return of Funds for Withdrawing Students.
